Its definitely been a great nesting season this year for the birds in our neighborhood. We have noticed a very large increase in the local bird population and an incredible amount of nests of the various types of birds.
Some of the nests which were under our close observation (inside the house) have had 3 separate nestlings of small birdies being raised within a 4-6 month period 😊
Its also been very nice to observe the feeding habits and dedication of the birds towards their little siblings. Two chuchubi’s were observed feeding the little ones at least 5-6 times within a 10 min time period.
BTW, looks like the grasshoppers and dragonflies are some of the birds favorite dishes around here.
