The airpump for the fish-tank of the aquaponics test system has been quite weak in blowing bubbles lately and yesterday morning I noticed that small mosquito larvi had invaded the aquaponics water tank. So of I go and purchased a new airpump and stone together with a fresh supply of guppies. Happy to inform that the new supply of guppies in the aquaponic system are doing great again and the Mint and Chives are triving in the aquaponics. Luckily I caught the problem in a timely manner and no mosquitos have been observed on premises. Btw, it finally rained quite a bit today 😊😊😊, so the mosquitos might find alternate locations for breeding. We’ll keep an 👀 out for these critters.
