After many years at our location in Matividiri, close to the North Coast of the island, we started “The Happy Cadushi Farms” in September 2017.

It was started in order to assist us to make better use the land we have at Matividiri and try to buildup the natural habitat of the local Flora and Fauna of the island, while at the same time allow us to grow local products on the property.

Our goals is to protect the local Fauna our immediate surroundings as much as possible, by building a natural “green” habitat that will bring back the local bird and other wild life, such as the burrowing owl, wara wara, humming bird, moffie’s, bariga geel, trupiaal, bunnies and other birds.

Some of the fruits/spices grown are: Mispel, Sorshaca, Druif di laman/Sea Grapes, Lamoenchi/Lemon & Lime, Tamarijn/Tamarind, Mango, Shimarucu, Mint, Peppermint, Yerba di Hole/Basil, Chives, Oregano, Citronella, Pineapple, Rosemary, Mata di Coco/Coconut trees, Dadelpalms, “Starfruit”, Pampoena/Pumpkin and others . We also grow and protect the local Fofoti, Watapana, Wayaka, Bringamosa, Cactusses, Green Belles y other local plants of Aruba.

We plan on doing this by planting and growing various local greenery in a sustainable way, that will be able to give the local fauna a natural habitat for roaming and feeding as freely as possible on our property.
